Caring for the things you buy
Most of the things we sell will last for years if you treat them well. Below are a few habits worth picking up — none of them are demanding, and they make a real difference over time.
Wash less, air more
Garments rarely need washing as often as we assume. Between wears, hang them somewhere airy for a few hours. You will get more life out of every piece, and they will look better for longer.
Follow the label
We know — care labels are easy to ignore. But the symbols and temperatures on them exist for a reason. When in doubt, default to a colder wash and a lower spin: it is almost never wrong.
Store with intention
Heavy knits belong folded, never on a hanger (they stretch out at the shoulders). Leather wants air, not airtight bags. Anything you wear seasonally should be cleaned before it goes into storage — stains set in over months.
Repair before replace
A missing button or a loose hem is not the end of a piece. If you would rather not handle it yourself, most cities have a tailor within walking distance who can do it for the cost of a coffee. Pieces you repair tend to become favourites.
